Sisters, life can feel so busy. We juggle many roles—as daughters, mothers, friends, and professionals. In the middle of everything, it’s easy to lose sight of who we are and what God is saying to us. Journaling is a beautiful way to slow down and reflect on God’s work in our lives.

The Bible reminds us to be still and know that He is God. (Psalm 46:10) Writing down your thoughts and prayers helps you pause and listen to His voice. When you journal, you can pour out your heart to God, just like David did in the Psalms. It’s a safe space to express your joys, struggles, and dreams.

As women, we often carry so much in our hearts. Journaling allows you to see how God has been faithful to you. When you write about your day, your prayers, or what you learn from Scripture, you create a record of His love and guidance. Over time, you can look back and see how He has answered prayers and carried you through challenges. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Journaling also helps us meditate on God’s Word. When you read the Bible, take time to write down a verse that speaks to you. Reflect on it and ask God what it means for your life. The more you write and reflect, the deeper your connection with Him will grow. (Joshua 1:8)

Sisters, set aside a few moments each day to write. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just be honest and open with God. You will find peace, clarity, and a deeper sense of His presence in your life.

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You for always being near. Help me to take time to reflect on Your goodness. Teach me to use journaling as a way to hear Your voice and draw closer to You. Thank You for guiding my steps each day. Amen.
