Today’s devotional for women is on “Reflecting on God’s Faithfulness” and it has a unique message which helps women to see the need to always look back at the faithfulness of God and their response to it.

We all have moments in life when we look back and see how far we’ve come. Sometimes, we may wonder how we made it through certain situations, but when we pause, we can clearly see God’s hand guiding us every step of the way.
The Bible says in Lamentations 3:22-23, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
God’s faithfulness is not just something we hear about; it’s something we experience every day. His love holds us together when we feel like falling apart. His mercy sustains us even when we don’t deserve it. Every breath we take, every blessing we have, is proof of His faithfulness.
Think about your own life. How many times has God provided for you when you thought there was no way? How often has He given you strength to face challenges you didn’t think you could handle? He has been there in every high and low, never leaving your side.
Psalm 37:25 reminds us, “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” This verse is a powerful reminder that God’s faithfulness extends across generations. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
When we reflect on God’s faithfulness, it fills our hearts with gratitude and strengthens our faith. It reminds us that no matter what lies ahead, we can trust Him to be the same faithful God who has carried us through before.

January 23 Prayers
- Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. Help me to never take Your love and mercy for granted.
- Father, remind me of the times You carried me through difficult seasons so that I may trust You in the future.
- Jesus, help me to see Your goodness even in the small things and to live with a heart full of gratitude.
- Thank You, Lord, for being a constant source of strength and provision. I trust You completely.
- God, let my life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, so others may be encouraged to trust in You.
Affirmation for January 23, 2025
I am a woman who reflects on God’s faithfulness every day.
I remember His goodness in my life and trust Him for my future.
God’s mercies are new every morning, and I am grateful for His love and provision.
I will not be shaken, because I know the God who has carried me before will carry me again.
My heart overflows with gratitude as I see God’s hand at work in my life, both in the big moments and the small details.
